Every order on The Makeistry is covered if:
- it hasn't arrived (or hasn't shipped 14 days after you ordered),
- it arrived damaged, or
- it's not what the listing described.
How it works
- On your order, choose Report a problem (up to 60 days after ordering) and explain what happened. Photos of damage help: describe them, and send them in messages to the maker.
- The maker is asked to help. Their payment for the order is held until it's sorted out.
- Most problems end with a replacement, a return or a refund agreed between you.
- If you can't agree after 3 days, either of you can ask us to decide. Cases still open after 7 days come to us automatically. We look at what both sides wrote, tracking, and the listing, and can refund you from the maker's earnings.
Returns
Makers set their own return policies for change-of-mind returns; check the shop or message them. Return shipping for a change of mind is usually paid by the buyer. Problems listed above are always covered.
Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
